This video explains how to visualize the results of your groundwater flow and contaminant transport models using the mapping functions provided by Visual MODFLOW Flex. Tips and tricks are provided for visualizing results in the Flex viewer and in the independent 3D viewer.

The Flex viewer allows you to visualize model results in layer, row, column and/or 3D views simultaneously. This makes it easy for you to pinpoint areas of interest and view your model from multiple angles. The Flex viewer also includes a helpful cell-inspector tool, which provides detailed model information on a cell-by-cell basis. However, the Flex viewer only allows you to visualize one set of 3D gridded data (i.e. heads, drawdowns, concentrations) at a time.

The independent 3D viewer provides you with the flexibility to view multiple model outputs simultaneously. The 3D viewer provides you with the most options for data visualization, and will allow you to review the results of both flow and transport models at the same time.
