On the 1st of February, the BBC relaunched its channel BBC Three, after 6 years of being an online-only channel. With this relaunch on linear TV, it also ditched its historic pink tones, replacing them with a bright green tone. And it's obvious that news idents were introduced! With this, I returned to the UK, after receiving support from my subscribers in the last theme poll.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) ABOUT THE THEME:
“What is BBC Three?”
BBC Three is a British TV channel, initially launched on the 9th of February 2003, replacing the old channel BBC Choice. It's targeted to young adults. Sadly, due to budget cuts inside the BBC, on the 16th of February 2016, the BBC Three TV channel was converted into a streaming channel available exclusively on the iPlayer, the BBC's streaming service. Fortunately, on the 1st of February 2022, near the channel's 19th anniversary, BBC Three was relaunched as a linear TV channel.
“What was BBC Choice?”
BBC Choice was a British TV channel launched online on the 23rd of September 1998. It was the predecessor to BBC Three, and was the second non-terrestrial TV channel launched by the BBC inside the UK (only after the BBC News channel launched in 1997).
“Is BBC Three broadcasting all-day?”
Sadly, no. Both before 2016 and after 2022, BBC Three shares its signal and bandwidth with CBBC, channel oriented to children. To broadcast each of the channels, CBBC would broadcast between 4 am and 7 pm, with the empty time slots being filled by BBC Three. This was discontinued between 2016 and 2022, when CBBC began to broadcast 24/7 as a response from BBC Three's conversion into an online-only channel.
