Motorcycle Tour Of The American Southwest

My son and I took our third cross country motorcycle tour together, this one toward the American southwest. We rode 6200 miles across 17 states in 13 days. We spent 9 to 12 hours a day in the saddle, he on his Triumph Tiger 1200 and me on my BMW R1200RT. This video shows clips from southwest Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah, which comprised about five days of riding. While we did visit National Parks, including Big Bend, Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce, what you see here are just public roads.

The beauty and open space is staggering every hour of the day. We designed the route for rural and remote areas. This video is a fraction of what we experienced, but I hope it will give you a taste of the area.
