Second session with the new V2 Tundra, trying it out on floats. Didn't use the water rudder on the first flight - looks better, but steering isn't great! No problems at all, still getting a comfortable 10 mins per battery (3S 2200). My V1 Tundra was hard to get off the water when flat calm - with half flap it needed a lot of power and up elevator. The V2 seems to unstick more easily ... possibly to do with the new vortex generators on the wing? From the telemetry I was only using 60-70% throttle on takeoff, and less than 1/3 up elevator.
