A lawyer-cum-PIL petitioner, Ashok Pandey went to supreme court against Rahul Gandhi. He also mentioned before Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud an order passed by another bench of the Supreme Court imposing costs on him. At this, the CJI remarked, "During arguments, thoda garma garmi ho jati hai. But you cannot make allegations like this on the judges of the bench. They never misbehave with lawyers."
