Ireland election: Calls for new government to tackle housing and homelessness crisis

The Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris says the general election is still too close to call as vote-counting goes on.

As Ireland awaits the results, there have been calls for the incoming government to tackle the ongoing housing crisis.

Housing and homelessness is at a record high of 15,000 people and the top issue according to the exit poll.
