Bitcoin halving is expected on around May 13, when there's going to be a block reward reduction as miners will go from getting 12.5 coins per block to 6.25 coins. Although at first glance, it’s a purely technical event, many people in the crypto community find it almost mystical. They build various theories: good when the price of bitcoin goes up, and bad, when mining stops, and the hash rate of the network collapses, and consequently - the exchange rate too.
