Backpacking 10 Days on the John Muir Trail - August 2023

I was graciously invited by Snackbox from ‪@OutsideComfortZone‬ to join him on a trek on the world famous John Muir Trail. We spent 10 days starting at Happy Isles in Yosemite National Park and headed Southbound toward Mount Whitney. After covering nearly 150 miles of absolutely beautiful landscapes and terrain, we were forced off trail due to the wildly unexpected and unprecedented Hurricane Hilary. Follow along on the adventure as we cover several mountain passes, cross treacherous river crossings and snow patches... Or simply enjoy the stunning and amazing views that surround this incredible trail.
