Описание к видео This Would Happen if a Supervolcano Erupted Today

At the present, there are 9 active supervolcanoes around the globe. Several of these, such as Lake Toba, produced megaeruptions while humans lived on the planet. This begs the question, what would a supereruption look like if one were to occur today? Using a series of models developed by the USGS and other researchers, this video shows what a low end supereruption would look like. The hypothetical supereruption would originate at the famous Mount Cleveland volcano in Alaska. I must note that at the present no supervolcanoes are showing any warning signs of a large volume volcanic eruption. This video is meant as a "what if" scenario as requested by one of my patrons.
