The bad boy of peat is back! Bruichladdich has released multiple iterations of its "Super Heavily Peated", Octomore whisky for several years now after it was brought back from being moth balled by Jim McEwan. Octomore 13.1 is this year's ex-bourbon cask matured release.

In this review, I nose and taste the 13.1 to score the whisky and grade the release, all things considered. With the prices these go for at MSRP plus the difficulty of finding them, they need to be pretty good to be worth it. Let's find out if they are!
