The Hoffman Estates Veteran's Memorial Commission hosted a ceremony to remember and honor all those who tragically lost their lives as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
With remarks by Mayor William McLeod, HEPD Deputy Chief John Bending, HEFD's Chief Alan Wax and Lieutenant Kurt Lichtenberg, and Invocation by Dr. Cheryl Novas. Featuring the HEFD and HEPD color guard, and the Salvation Army music ensemble.
