I see people asking constantly on instagram, facebook and the forums (especially anytime any boutique label is putting out any HK cinema ) when we will get a official remastered or a 4K UHD release of John Woo''s The Killer & Hard Boiled
( as well as a Chinese Ghost Story, A Better Tomorrow and A Bullet in the Head)

Here is the definitive, 100% factual and yes frustrating as hell, reason as to why we are unlikely to EVER see any of the Golden Princess Back catalogue of movies getting any official Physical Media releases outside of Asia.
