R.I.P. Mick Karn -- Sons of Pioneers / Japan (only intro, Bass Cover)

Описание к видео R.I.P. Mick Karn -- Sons of Pioneers / Japan (only intro, Bass Cover)

Thank you so much for watching my videos.
For some reason, this one has been getting the most views, so I thought I'd make a few comments.

This is one of Mick Karn's most famous bass pieces, and yet it's relatively easy to play compared to his other pieces.
This video is a good reference for your playing.
By the way, I use my own ears for all the notes.
It's not good practice to rely on tablature right away.
The tempo of this song is not that fast, so why not watch the video and see which frets you are holding?

Actually... It doesn't really matter how I do it with my right hand. The evidence is that my playing is very different from Mick's two-fingered technique. In the first place, it's not a very common technique, so there's not much to be gained by imitating it.
It's more about the left hand. The way you hold the fingerboard with your left hand, the length of each note, the way you mute the notes, etc. are all important.
Of course, the right hand also plays an important role in muting, but the right hand technique can be dealt with by using the general two-finger technique.
Incidentally, the left hand, not the right hand, is also important for the harmonics part, too.

Good luck!
