In Hoang Su Phi, Hagiang, Vietnam the wedding season begins when the harvest accomplished. Weddings usually organize for 2 days. The groom's family prepares gifts and make up for the girls of the bride-bringing team very fussily. When they arrive at the bride's house, they have to wait outside for a long time until the bride's family agrees to let them in. At right time, the unique traditional performance of Dao Ao Dai ( Long clothes) ethnic minority begins in front of the main door. The groom's family will send a team of girls or women; On the opposite, the bride's family will send a team of boys or men. The performance could last 2-3 hours. The content of the songs mention that the bride's parents do not want their daughter leaving home, and the songs of the groom's family will persuade them to agree that. When the bride's family agrees and lets them come in, the performance is continuing indoor. The content of the songs mention about daily life and greetings. Singing teams perform throughout the day except meals time. And the next day the bride is taken to her husband's house. The traditional dowry gift is a goat and other household items.
