Madavara Namma Metro Station: A Game Changer for BIEC and IMTEX 2025

After years of anticipation, the Madavara Metro Station, located next to the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), is now operational, marking a milestone for connectivity in the region. This metro extension addresses a long-standing need for efficient public transport to BIEC, one of India’s most prominent venues for exhibitions and events.

With the station on the Green Line providing seamless access, exhibitors and visitors to IMTEX 2025 can now enjoy hassle-free travel, avoiding the heavy traffic that has often been challenging on Tumakuru Road. The new metro link promises to enhance the overall experience, making the journey smoother, quicker, and more environmentally friendly. The Madavara Metro Station, adjacent to the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), commenced commercial operations on November 7, 2024, following a seven-year delay.
