It covers a wide range of important treatments like X-rays, health screenings for teenagers, family planning, home care, dental treatment, and nursing homes. You can even get help to quit smoking.

There are special programs to make Medicaid available for more individuals, like children, people with disabilities, women who are pregnant and immigrants with an emergency medical condition.

To find out if you qualify, log onto ACCESS NYC at NYC.gov, a free online service that lets you screen over 30 City, State and Federal benefit programs.
