BREAKING: The new Lost Island Theme Park in Waterloo, Iowa started on fire Thursday evening. There was no one on site and there are no injuries. The fire took place in the 1,500-square foot queue house for the park’s log flume ride. According to park owner Eric Bertch, the building is a total loss but will not delay the park’s soft opening in late May or early June, and crews will resume construction of the structure next week.
