Beethoven's Sonata No.5 in C Minor, Op.10 No.1. This piece shares similarities with the later pathetique sonata with its nervous energy, form and key in C minor. In addition, the short development section contains an unmistakable foreshadow of the theme from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 at 17:24.

This is the longest piece I've ever recorded yet! I started off wanting to play only the third movement as I really like it, but thought that doing the whole sonata instead will be more fun.
