LIVE A HERO - Initial Gameplay

Here's a first look at the gameplay in LIVE A HERO which covers most of the major actions in the game.

0:00 - Account Creation: When in doubt, press the blue button. After downloading the game for the first time, another download of roughly 500MB should happen which is not shown in this video. Then, the game requires you to accept the terms of service. From there, you can customize your account (which can be later changed in the settings) and then you will be dropped into the first main quest.

2:02 - Tutorial Battle: Drag actions onto enemies/allies to complete the battle. You can attack enemies, wait until the end of the turn, or perform skills. Allies/enemies have the same basic five elemental attributes in Housamo with the same advantages/resistances. Your team and the enemies share a collective pool of View Points which are used to activate skills. Using skills at the right time is key to strategy.

4:05 - Mailbox Claim: For the game's release, new players will receive 50 Ether Stones, the game's premium currency, in their mailbox.

4:20 - Gacha Multi Pull: Note that the gacha rates can be accessed in the silver button below the banner.

8:10 - Various Main Screen Functions: Here you can access your mailbox, view announcements, view missions for rewards, access the game settings, and view your friends list and friend code.

8:50 - Hero Jobs: You can send your heroes out to do jobs to gain experience/items for various amounts of time ranging from 2-16 hours. These jobs can be expedited by using tickets, and you can send multiple heroes out for the same job. Note that the blue button at the end of a job completion repeats the same task. Your heroes will still be available to use in battle even if out on a job. Finally, the efficiency of jobs is the same regardless of time.

9:45 - Level Up Menu: Here there are various ways to level up your heroes/sidekicks. Holding on your hero/sidekick's icon brings up their profile in which you can access their voicelines, sprite expressions, battle models, skills, and basic information.

12:10 - Quests: These can be accessed by pressing the button with LIVE on it in the main screen. For now, there are 13 main quests which can be completed and various daily quests.

13:15 - Support Setup: Like in Housamo, you can choose which support you can put up for other players to use in battle. This is done in the settings in which you can change your avatar's appearance/voice/gender by clicking the button in the top right.
