Patan Durbar Square is located at the center of the city of Lalitpur in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley. It is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Patan Durbar Square is a remarkable example of Newari architecture. The Patan Durbar Square is one of the three royal cities in the Kathmandu. There is a belief that the city was built by the Kirant dynasty in the 3rd century B.C.

The city is bounded by temples, arts, monasteries. It is encircled by the four Stupas, one at each corner of its leading points. One of the significant temples is Krishna Mandir (temple), which is aligned opposite the old palace.

The other places like Golden temple, rato(red) Machhindranath temple, etc. are the major attraction around the Patan Durbar Square. A center of both Hinduism and Buddhism, Patan Durbar Square has 136 "battles"(courtyards) and 55 major temples.
