Hi everyone
Welcome to daltemor's kitchen


Hope you all are doing well. As many of you guys have been asking for "Nan Panjakash" today mom has decided to make it for you. The difference between this bread with all other Afghan breads is, that it's thicker and softer and is one of the oldest and traditional bread being baked by women in the village and countryside in Afghanistan.
It is served with almost every meal and is generally torn into shreds and used to wrap foods, so that twe can be picked up and conveyed to the mouth, and also to soak up liquids on the plate and in a stew. It is also commonly served as a snack or light meal with yogurt or fresh cheese and other appetizers.
All Afghan breads stay fresh when frozen for weeks, and can be reheated briefly in a warm oven before each serving.
Afghan bread has recently gained much popularity among the food savvy individuals in the west due to its unique taste, simple ingredients and its use in multiple recipes.
