Indiana's Shared Landscape - The Lower Wabash River

Описание к видео Indiana's Shared Landscape - The Lower Wabash River

The Lower Wabash River basin is important habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife and it holds a vast landscape of floodplain forest habitat that is extremely valuable to human communities as well. TNC has set ambitious goals in floodplain forest conservation to restore 15,000 additional floodplain acres by 2025. By using mapping technology and community outreach, TNC is working with several partners to implement a targeted and low-impact approach to achieve the conservation goals in collaboration with the local farming community.
