Create your seat for meditation from the ground up. Sit comfortably with your hips slightly higher than your knees. You may want to sit on a block or two. Position yourself so that you are comfortable, aware and awake. Stack your upper body on top of your hips. Lengthen your spine from your tailbone through the top of your head. Rest your forearms on your thighs with your palms turned up or down or take the hand mudra (position or gesture) of your choice. Breathe.
