When it comes to Chikmagalur’s most popular vegetarian eatery, it is safe to say that all roads lead to Hotel Mayura Deluxe, a 51-year-old culinary institution. Be it for their award winning coffee, breakfast or sumptuous meals, Mayura Deluxe is a favourite both with locals and tourists in this coffee town. I stop by for a quick tour and breakfast in which I discover a most unusual rava idli and a very impressive masala dosae.
