This Bosch (GKT13-225) Track Saw with Plunge Action provides precision and power for cutting wood and wood-based sheet goods such laminated particle boards and plywood like a table saw. For precision end-to-end cuts and plunge cuts, the track-guidance system allows for precise changes. It's a more portable alternative to a table saw because of the saw and track combo. The track saw's precision, along with the optional Bosch tracks (available separately), results in straight, rapid finish cuts. The saw is designed to fit snugly into the tracks. Constant electronics are included into the saw to help it maintain speed while under stress. A spindle lock, a swivelling hose port, and a lock-off mechanism are also included in the saw. Overload protection is included. For both bevel and non-bevel cuts, it has a single pivot point that ranges from -1 degrees (for tiny undercuts) to +47 degrees. When linked to a suitable vacuum cleaner, it provides for efficient dust extraction. A 48-tooth 6 1/2-inch track saw blade, a blade-change wrench, and an L-Box case are included in this Bosch (GKT13-225) Kit. Four alternative track lengths, a connector for joining additional tracks, an angle guide, and a rip fence are all available as optional attachments from Bosch.
