Step 1

Section hair out to its natural fall and take a 1cm section at the frontal lobe comb it down to natural fall and create your guideline using a freehand technique.

Working section by section coming the hair onto the previous guide continuing the freehand technique.

Finally the last section combing the hair down with minimum tension and cutting through the comb to complete the strength through the fringe.

Step 2

Create a square layer through the top internal section, using a point cutting technique to create softness and texture.

Section off a radial part from the back of the ear and begin on the contour of the head creating a block graduation to increase definition through the sides thus indicating your guideline to meet up to with the clippers.

Step 3

Apply London Grooming Clay into the scalp of the hair to add volume and encorage a second day matte feel.

Blow dry with a medium speed and medium heat naturally using your fingers in a rotary motion.

Working with a Denman brush smoothen the fringe out .

Step 4

Soften the fringe using a point cutting method simply cutting up into the fringe gently.

Personalise the haircut at the focal point at the front of the hair removing weight through point cutting by elevating the three sections of the the frontal lobe.

Step 5

Place a 2 guard round the back and sides meeting the graduation cut previous from the block graduation

Use the clipper with the natural hair growth to remove unnecessary weight to create a beautiful movement.

Step 6

Mark out the neckline, around the ears and temple area using your trimmer

Step 7

Place your skin level one inch from the neck line and the sideburns

Working one fingers depth above create a 0.5 guideline
Again another fingers depth above the 0.5, place a 1.5 guideline

You now have two apparent guidelines.

The primary top line blend out using a number 1

And then the secondary bottom line blend out using a zero.

Once complete skim over the graduation from the 1.5 area with a 2 guard, the finally scissor over comb the graduation for a smoother transition.

Step 8

Refine the outline once more using the trimmer and then the cut throat razor through the beard to strengthen the outline.

Step 9

Apply The London Grooming Company's Clay for a playful finish designed to enhance natural texture and increased definition.
