Rare Local Fest in Chicham Village ~ Unseen Spiti Valley | Traveling Mondays ep03

Presenting to you all 3rd episode of The Spiti Travel Series which will take you to the least explored village of Spiti - CHICHUM.
Chichum is about 4 km ahead from Kibber if you are travelling from kaza.
Kaza - Ki - Kibber - Chichum

Frankly speaking, chichum was not on my list and i had not heard about it before. I met a traveller in Kibber who suggested me to go ahead to Chichum and explore a local fest which was happening there. So i went ahead to Chichum. The road from Kibber to Chichum is amazing and the view that you witness on your way is breathtaking. I also stopped at Chichum bridge which was newly built. It took around 17 years to build and is asia's highest bridge.

A local guy invited us for tea in his home and shared many stories. Their houses are very warm and cozy and their hearts are as big as the lands they own.
