The chaconnes of Louis Couperin together with the unmeasured preludes, the many dance movements and the tombeaux have become part of the standard repertoire of the harpsichordist. Here Colin Booth, the well-known English harpsichordist and harpsichord maker, plays one of Couperin's chaconnes on his newly restored Nicholas Celini French double of 1661.
