Описание к видео JAC T8 ARRIVED IN NAMIBIA

WINDHOEK
27 APRIL 2021

I guess the Chinese just like the Indians all learnt one thing if they want to get into and compete in the bakkie market. And that is to build and provide bakkies that is not only attractive but also durable.

The JAC T8 I had for the past wekend was the TDi 4x2 Lux Double cab.
a very comfortable vehicle in all senses. The dashboard is kind of clean and un-cluttered.
No extra buttons and switches or anything that make some drivers think "now what on Earth s the purpose of this?"
The seats are very comfortable, and even the backseat provide enough leg space fora tall dude like me. Unlike some of the bakkies from their Japanese neighbours that boast with limited leg space in the back, this "JAC has plek" at the back.

What I liked most was the real diesel feeling when I started the bakkie. The engine gave that feeling of diesel toughness and to top it with the 6 speed manual transmission - created that feeling of "Im in control on the gravel"

but again there are those who prefer auto garboxes, but I love that feeling of changing the gears myself.

The only thing that looks out of place in the car, is that - you guessed it , the red plastic emergency light switch. I am sure that the designers could've improve on that piece. Looks kind of "kitch" But again as soon as I pulled away , that eyesore was forgotten.

The JAC T8 - as said is. basic bakkie, yet it offers a big well planned and designed interior, a big load box - and the long double wishbone high position rear suspension makes "gravel travel" and loading a breeze in the park.

Though I did not drive far out on the Khomas Hochland gravel road for her "photo and drone shoot" I really enjoyed taking her on the road. Her cabin is surprisingly quiet and I could enjoy my classical on te fitted sound system like a conductor in front of his orchestra.

Other features are Dual airbags, ABS, EBD.
18" Aluminium alloys.( Seems my T8 was fitted with sexy ones )
The double "C" rear LED Lights are impressive, and on would expect that lights on the more "lahni" motors and not the Chinese cars. I was clearly wrong.

Ohhh the high resolution rear camera makes reverse parking in tight spots much easier, however I had almost a few narrow moments when I parked in one of the city's prominent shopping malls. Now I understand why most 4x4 drivers prefer to park on the pavement, nothing to do with shining off, all about some narrow spaces.

When it comes to fuel, - remember I had the diesel is 8L100km for the 4x2 and 9L/100km for the 4x4. Not bad, I already thinking what to do and tell JAC Motor here in Windhoek why they need to give me a JAC to visit the ocean. Or maybe use the T8 to go and film my projects that im commissioned over the next few days.

The peace off mind on this car comes in the form of their service plans and warranty. And NO you won't "sukkel met a Chinees at a Tjaaina shop" M&Z right here in Windhoek stand ready to assist and serve you.
it comes standard with 5 year 150 000km warranty and a 5 year 60 000Km service plan.

Now one can own a double cab 1.9TDi, 6speed for a meer 384 900.00 N$ (4x2) and the 4x4 for less N$ 435 000.00 - you actually get a N$ 100.00 change.

So next time when you spot a Chinese or Indian vehicle, remember tomes changed and so did their products.
