This 2010 Mini Cooper S, 1.6 with the N14 engine, came to me as a non runner.
The car had been in two different places, before I was asked to have a look at it.

The car would crank ok, but did not start.

A bit of investigation, and I quick realized that was not crankshaft or camshaft speed signal reaching the DME (Engine control module).
