Previously, the party revisited the town of Balamb after chasing off Raijin and Fujin. After an event with the Big Bad Rascal at the Harbor, they found a Spd Up in Zell's bedroom. They also played a game against the Queen of Hearts, gave her the Chicobo card, and made sure she went to Dollet. Back in Balamb Garden, they chatted with Rinoa in the Library and with Zell in the party for a Zell Love Quest event. The party checked up with the Queen of Hearts in Dollet and then obtained the Chubby Chocobo card from a Balamb Garden student. They returned to Shumi Village briefly to draw some more Ultima spells. Then, they saved at the Talle Mountains on the southern island at the Esthar Region's border with the Centra Region. Now, the party will hunt Cactuars in Kashkabald Desert to gain dramatic amounts of AP for their GFs.
