Lindsey Hunter did an excellent job of frustrating Dwyane Wade in the 2005 ECF. While Tayshaun Prince had the size and length advantage, Hunter had speed and quickness to counter Wade and was the Pistons' most effective Wade defender for the series. With his shorter stature he could crowd Wade and get under him, yet still react quick enough to Wade's first step. Hunter pressured Wade the full length of the court, shadowed him off the ball and around screens, and with his excellent hands stripped Wade quite a few times as well. Hunter also did an excellent job of denying entry passes when Wade tried to post him up.
