King takes over leadership of the Women Fighters as Kasumi returns since 96. Blue Mary takes Mai's place on the team as Mai joins the Fatal Fury team this time around to be close to Andy. Newcomer to the team is Li Xiangfei, a waitress from the Fatal Fury series.

Personally I like all of the new characters but Xiangfei surprised me the most. She is very fun to play as. Jhun and Bao also are very fun. I had already had experience with K' and Maxima, but seeing where they started has been another great time.
