Chicken curry

Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg
Onion - 2 to 3 nos
shallots - 6 to 7 nos
Green chilli - 2 to 3 nos
Ginger - 1 big
Garlic - 6 to 7 nos
Curry leaves - 3 to 4 sprigs
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Dry red chilli - 3 to 4 nos
coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 to 3 tsp

Method
First we have to peel and wash the onion ,ginger ,garlic and green chilli.
Then chopped the onion ,ginger ,garlic and green chilli ,set aside.
Then chopped the cleaned tomatoes and set aside.
Then grated the coconut and set aside.
Take a pan add grated coconut and water .
Squeezed them well with fingers and set aside.
Drain and keep aside.
Heat a pan add chopped ginger and garlic
Then add green chilli and curry leaves saute them well.
Add chopped shallots and saute them well for few minutes.
Add coriander powder ,red chilli powder ,garam masala and turmeric powder
saute them well till the raw smell completily gone.
Then add chicken pieces and saute them well.
Pour sufficent amount of water and combine them well.
cover and cook them well.
Remove the lid check wheather the chicken is well cooked or not .
Pour coconut milk and mix them well.
cook for few minutes and remove from fire and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed ,let them cracked.
Add dry red chilli and saute them well.
Add shallots and fry them well.
Then add curry leaves and fry them well.
Remove from fire and pour the ingredients on the chicken curry pan .
combine them well with chicken curry .
Serve the tasty chicken curry with mani putte

Mani putte
​Ingredients
Rice flour - 2 cup
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 or 2 tsp
Method
Take a bowl add rice flour and salt mix them well
Then add water and stir well , mix them well.
Then add ghee make soft dough and keep a side.
Then make a small balls with dough and set aside.
Then take a stainless steel chiratta puttu maker
Add the grated coconut into the base then add dough ball .
On the topn add grated coconut and covered with a lid.
placed the chiratta putte maker into the steam maker
cook them well 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from the steamer and transfer it into a plate and set aside.
serve the mani putte with chicken curry
