We produced a full-cycle video for Dalux, documenting the complete digitalization of developer workflow in the SBC 4K project — one of Riga’s most technically ambitious recent developments.

Located in Riga’s historic center, the project faced severe site constraints and highly complex architectural and structural solutions. Early-stage detailed architectural planning enabled smooth execution despite limited space and demanding facade and interior solutions.

This project achieved Latvia’s highest BIM detail level, integrating comprehensive 3D data across all phases. The team used Dalux from project start to handover — not only for defect logging, but for full BIM collaboration:

3D model viewing on-site
Structured document management
Model-linked communication
Defect tracking
Digital handover tools

By connecting all communication and documentation directly to the 3D model, information became traceable and element-based — eliminating data loss typical in emails or messaging apps.

BIM replaced traditional 2D drawings with data-rich 3D models, allowing immediate volume calculations, clash detection, and visibility of structural nodes that would remain hidden in flat plans. This significantly accelerated construction processes and improved quality control.

Beyond project delivery, SBC 4K contributed to advancing BIM standards in Latvia and inspired further professional development in BIM specialization.
