The USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) announced the 2024 recipient of the Ameri Prize for Innovation in Public Diplomacy at a special award event on September 24 at the University of Southern California Capital Campus in Washington, D.C. The annual Ameri Prize honors U.S. foreign and civil service officers for creative and scalable initiatives that advance global public diplomacy. The program, established by CPD in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, promotes the practice and further builds the field at a time when public diplomacy is needed more than ever.

Join Morgan O'Brien, a seasoned 15-year veteran of the U.S. Foreign Service and current Deputy Spokesperson at the U.S. Mission to NATO in Brussels, as he discusses his impactful work in international diplomacy. Recognized for founding the Industry Liaison Office at the Bureau of Consular Affairs, O'Brien has fostered collaboration between businesses, universities, and institutions to streamline U.S. visa processes.
