The 4th day of self-teaching Cello

Today's practice includes the D major scale one octave up and down, plus its rhythmic variations.

Noticed Problems:
1. Cello holding position might need to be adjusted so that when playing faster, it doesn't wobble too much.
2. Still tend to play unexpected chords, which sounds good, but not ideal when I intended to play a single string...
3. I'm more familiar with the fingering position today, which is good.
4. As you can see from the video, sometimes the bow tends to move up to the fingerboard, which produces a thinner sound (I know it's another technique on cello called sul tasto, but not ideal at this moment).


I chose Yamaha SVC210 cello mainly because I can practise "silently" without disturbing the neighbours (although its volume is still quite audible).
