I tried so many ways to connect my dualshock 4 controller to my PC BUT NOTHING WORKED. NONE OF THE VIDEOS WOULD HELP ME! So... I found my own way :D

Make sure to download DS4Windows before trying this. It is the most common solution for this issue.

THIS IS FOR A WIRED CONNECTION ONLY USING A USB.

These steps have helped out others.
1. Reset the contoller with the small button on the back.
2. Check that you are up to date on the software and using the right version.
3. Try a different usb slot.
4. Run the program in admin mode.
5.Select the "Hide Controller" option.
5. Check the contollers software. To do this :
1.Go to device manager then look under "Human Interface
Devices."
2.An HID-complainent game contoller should be listed there.
3.Right click on it and go to properties, then the drivers tab.
4.Check that it is enabled. if not enable it.
5.Try the program now if not click the uninstall button.
6.Unplug the controller and plug it back in.
7. Let it finish reinstalling and try again.
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS PLUGGING IT BACK INTO PS4
Turn off your ps4. Hold down the reset button for a few seconds. Then plug the controller into the ps4 with the usb cable. Try turning on the ps4.
If that fails use another ps4 controller or a usb keyboard to go into the ps4 settings/devices/bluetooth. Then click on the controller, hit options, and "forget" device. Then try the above solution. (Turn off ps4, reset controller, usb plug in, turn on ps4).
