Intrinsic Viscosity and Mark Houwink Equation

Описание к видео Intrinsic Viscosity and Mark Houwink Equation

Intrinsic viscosity and the Mark Houwink equation can be used together to easily find the molecular weight of a given polymer sample. However, the molecular weight of the polymer sample can only be found if two specific constants are already known. The Mark Houwink equation allows us to convert the intrinsic viscosity of a polymer to its molecular weight.

This timeline is meant to help you better understand the intrinsic viscosity of a polymer and the Mark Houwink equation:
0:00 Introduction.
0:11 Drawbacks to determining the molecular weight of a polymer with the Mark Houwink equation.
