Speaking at the UK National Day celebrations in New Delhi, Jaishankar highlighted the transformation powered by the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (ECTA), Prime Minister Modi’s UK visit, and the largest-ever British trade delegation led by PM Keir Starmer. He also revealed key breakthroughs, the first-ever India-UK defence industrial roadmap, approval for nine top UK universities to open campuses in India, and the adoption of “Vision 2035” built on five pillars: Growth, Technology & Innovation, Defence & Security, Climate & Clean Energy, and Education.
