Just what the doctor ordered... a lowering kit and some killer exhaust! I ordered a pair of 4 foot long 4-inch stainless exhaust pipe to use as stacks. Then I jumped on eBay and ordered a dual 4" stainless exhaust stack y-pipe kit. I flipped the hood stack into a down pipe and ran 3" back to the 4" y-pipe and yall these things are killer! The I took a set of Belltech 1/2-ton 3rd gen Dodge Ram lowering springs and jammed them into the front of the D350 chassis and got Johnny Cash quite a bit lower to the ground. I got a new set of front shocks from O'Rielly auto parts and this truck rides so much better! I love how it rolls coal out of both stacks from the pump being turned up on the 12 valve Cummins.

Well, yall just what we needed... another project. But this one was a good deal I promise. Just like the last one was. I actually bought this truck from a really good friend of mine. He bought it from another fella, who bought it from the folks that were building it and from what I can tell it's been sitting outside since then. I had to go to Childersburg, Alabama to pick the truck and parts up. Gonna try and get it running and driving and figure out more about the truck.

The paperwork on the truck is from Indiana and calls it a 1940 Chevy truck. I believe the grill and fenders are a 1940 to maybe a 1947 Dodge truck. The chassis is a 1993 Dodge D350 5.9 liter 12 valve cummins. Its an automatic and its 2wd dually. Someone suicided the doors on the cab, its got a tilt steering column and a B&M ratchet shifter.
