Sheriff shares what Trump said to him on phone call after apparent assassination attempt

Markenzy Lapointe, US attorney for the Southern District of Florida, says Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, has been charged with two counts, including possession of a firearm while a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Then, Jeffrey Veltri, the special agent in charge of the Miami FBI field office, gives more details on the suspect’s background.
