We start our walk along Cleveleys promenade at the side of the Sea Swallow sculpture, at the end of Cleveleys high street. The tide is coming in and there's a bracing wind blowing! It's a lovely winter day for a walk along the promenade though, and the foamy waves are growing in size as they get nearer to the sea wall.

Cleveleys promenade in winter is a popular place - there are quite a few people about today even though it's a Thursday morning.
