With a Medicare Advantage plan from Peoples Health, you get more benefits than Original Medicare.

And one of those additional benefits is routine vision coverage. This care includes eye exams to see if you need eyeglasses or contacts. Depending on your plan, you may have a copay for this visit. Refer to your plan’s Evidence of Coverage for details.

If you need a routine eye exam or a new prescription for glasses or contacts, you’ll see an optometrist in our provider network. You can find a list of in-network doctors near you at peopleshealth.com. Just use the “Find Routine Vision Providers” search.

If your doctor prescribes glasses or contacts for you, don’t worry. Peoples Health has you covered.

You can choose from a selection of frames for $0. Or upgrade to fashion frames, designer frames or premium frames for an extra fee.

Single vision lenses or bifocal lenses are included free with every pair of glasses. Lens enhancements are available for a fee. Learn more at LAvisionbenefits.com.

If you prefer contacts, you’re covered for $0.

Specialty contact lenses, such as multifocal lenses, toric lenses, hard lenses or colored lenses, are offered for an additional cost.
