Unfortunately, I passed the road test on my second attempt, but I am confident that with proper preparation (reliable resources and practice), no instructor's expectations will catch you off guard, and most importantly, you won't feel as anxious.
Remember, "You don't just think you can do it; you believe you can do it" (Truus Decock).
For all fellow paramedics, paramedic students, and everyone pursuing a commercial driver's license, I am here to help you get your Class F driver´s license!
You are welcome to share your road test experience.

My test experience:
In my 1st attempt, I got the following items for the exterior inspection: “Exhaust system”, “Hydraulic brake system”, “Hub and fasteners” (I forgot to demonstrate the major defect: "Evidence of imminent wheel, hub, or bearing failure"), and “Doors and Emergency exits” (the back doors). For the in-cab check, after I had shown the inspection, which I forgot to mention and check the "Windshield wiper/washer”, he asked me to demonstrate the “Heater and defroster” (he marked me for not checking again all the speeds as I did in the first time). By that point (three mistakes), he had already disqualified me on his tablet but said nothing.
In my 2nd attempt, I got the following items for the exterior inspection: “Exhaust system”, “Hydraulic brake system”, “Tire leak”, and “Hub leak”. For the in-cab check, after I had shown the inspection, he asked me to demonstrate again the “Glass and mirrors” and “Driver seat”.
In both attempts, they asked for an “Offset” backing to the right in which one asked to back within 3 meters (if I am not mistaken) from the back cones, while the other said as close as possible to the back cones, without touching any cone. I believe it is an automatic "failed” if you hit any cone, so proceed with caution. Tips: make sure to open the windows, signal 4-way flashers, get out of the vehicle to check the surroundings, and honk before backing. In the same way, I was supposed to simulate and describe an uncontrolled railway crossing in both opportunities. Tips: 4-way flashers; when approaching, describe the whole process while checking the mirrors; come to a complete stop at about 5 meters from the pretended rail (reference point); open windows and your door to listen; close door; go ahead, always checking the mirrors; then turn off 4-way sign after completing the crossing.
