All The Cards On The Table. I use that phrase a lot in ministry. I guess a secular way of saying bring all our junk out on the table and not holding anything back as the Lord deals with us and our issues. This past week a friend of Dianna and I's took it literally. Told us they were writing past things that had held them back in life on individual playing cards with a marker. As a prophetic gesture of leaving them on the table and going on with Jesus. I loved the idea and said that would make a great song. I remember as a kid listening to an old song about a deck of cards representing scriptures. Today I was thinking about all that and a few testimonies. I thought of this scenario and begin to write and got stuck so used Chat GPT and was shocked by some good ideas. I used a couple and here is the song. Its fictional but I would think this mirrors very close to many of our stories.
