More Americans are saying they are not on track to reach their retirement goals, according to BlackRock's 2023 Read on Retirement survey. Anne Ackerley, Head of BlackRock's Retirement Group, joins the live show to discuss the survey's findings as a part of Yahoo Finance's Retirement Readiness series. Ackerley blames the market environment for the decline, saying that the confidence numbers from Gen Z fell the most. Ackerley notes one of the "disturbing" findings from the survey was that "60 percent said they might consider selling during a market downturn. Only 20 percent of baby boomers said that." Her advice to that group? "I would say to those Gen Z-ers, don't sell. You gotta ride through this."
