Killarney Beerfest 2017 took place in the INEC Killarney from 26-28 May 2017. The National Homebrew Club were there giving homebrew demonstrations on their Grainfather, Braumeister and three tier systems over the course of the festival.

The Saturday event in particular was absolutely glorious, many attended to sample amazing Irish craft beer and to learn from the best in the business with brewing demonstrations, tastings, meet the brewers, beer/food pairing classes and a whole lot more.

And because craft isn’t limited to beer there was a tantalising selection of home brewed whiskey, gin and cider to sample!

People got to browse the stalls, enjoy a masterclass or two and soak up the festive atmosphere and live music. Beer music and food, three of the best combinations outside of barley, hops and yeasts!

I got to meet some amazing people throughout the day and we partied hard into the early hours of the morning.
