In this talk, Yishin Khoo talks about her experiences teaching in a Tibetan Monastery as a young Chinese teacher and the personal boundaries she is crossing to create an inclusive classroom with respect for diverse identities.

Yishin Khoo holds an MA in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is on the organizing teams of the Peace Education Network at Teachers College, and Plateau Engage - a student group at Columbia University that works towards developing education and training, as well as supporting initiatives that promote community revitalization and sustainability on the Tibetan plateau.
