जागतिक हत्ती दिन | World Elephant Day | The Mumbai Zoo

१२ ऑगस्ट, जागतिक हत्ती दिनाच्या निमित्ताने आज वीरमाता जिजाबाई भोसले वनस्पती उद्यान व प्राणिसंग्रहालय येतील अनारकली हत्तीणीसाठी एनरीचमेंट ऍक्टिव्हिटी करण्यात आली होती. त्यामध्ये तिला आवडणारी वेगवेगळी फळे देण्यात आली. पर्यटकांमध्ये जनजागृती करण्यासाठी माहितीपूर्ण फोटो बूथ लावण्यात आले होते. महाराष्ट्र महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थ्यांनी आलेल्या पर्यटकांना हत्ती विषयी माहिती सांगितली व लहान मुलांना ओरिगामी च्या माध्यमातून हत्ती कसा बनवावा हे शिकवण्यात आले.

We celebrated World Elephant Day at Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Udyan and Zoo by treating Anarkali to her favorite fruits as part of a special enrichment activity. The event featured informative photo booths to increase awareness among visitors, while students from Maharashtra College provided educational insights about elephants. Additionally, children had the opportunity to learn origami techniques to create elephant figures.
